I will be tutoring at the Bristol Translates literary translation summer school again this year. It's taking place online from 1 - 5 July 2024 and comprises three days of translation workshops in small groups, and two days of panels, talks and workshops related to the industry and craft of literary translation. If you are thinking about applying and have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line!

My most recent translation is Shida Bazyar's Sisters in Arms, published by Scribe in October 2023. An explosive feminist and antiracist novel about the importance of friendship - it pulls no punches, but (something reviews don't often mention) will also make you laugh.

Nino Haratischwili's epic family saga The Eighth Life (For Brilka) is being made into a TV series by production companies Ink Factory and Amusement Park (story here). The book was co-translated by Charlotte Collins and me, and published by Scribe in 2019.
